Review form

Shoppers can write a review right on a product page, with stars, text, photos and videos. You add this with the FiveOh Review Form block; its settings and texts are described on the Review Form block page.

Setting it up

1. Place the Review Form block on your product template.
2. Choose Who can review: everyone, only logged-in customers, or only customers who bought the product.
3. Decide in the app’s Settings whether new reviews are published at once or wait for your approval. See Moderation.

What happens to a review

A review sent from the form is stored like every other review and shows in the reviews table on the dashboard. Reviews from logged-in customers are marked Verified Reviewer, reviews from visitors who are not logged in Unverified. To get Verified Buyer reviews, which are linked to an order, use the post-purchase email.

Troubleshooting

1. A review was sent but does not show: it may be waiting for approval in the reviews table, because of a moderation rule.
2. The form does not show: check Who can review. Visitors who may not review do not see the form.
