Judge.me

Judge.me stores its reviews in Shopify’s standard product review metaobjects. FiveOh reads them from there, so you can keep collecting with Judge.me and display the reviews with FiveOh.

Setup

There is nothing to set up. As soon as Judge.me has stored a review in Shopify, FiveOh notices it, adds it to your reviews and recalculates the product’s rating. A Judge.me card appears on the app dashboard once the first review arrives.

New, changed and deleted reviews follow on their own: Shopify tells FiveOh about every change.

Checking that it works

Open the reviews table on the dashboard. The Judge.me reviews are listed there, with Judge.me as their source. Then open a product with Judge.me reviews on your storefront: the FiveOh blocks show them.

Troubleshooting

  1. No reviews arrive: in your Shopify admin, open Content → Metaobjects → Product reviews. If the Judge.me reviews are not listed there, Judge.me has not stored them in Shopify yet. Check Judge.me’s settings for syncing reviews to Shopify.
  2. A review shows without a product: Judge.me stored it without a product link. It counts as a store review.
