Reviews Slider
Displays a horizontal scrolling reviews carousel with an optional summary tile (rating, count, logo).
When to use
Use this when you want compact social proof that works beyond the product page - homepage, landing pages, collection pages, or as a secondary highlight on product pages.
Unlike Review List, this is a carousel of recent reviews, not a full browsable list.
Review scope
Choose what reviews feed the slider:
- Product reviews - current product (and its variants). On non-product pages this falls back to all reviews.
- Store reviews - store-level reviews only.
- All reviews - mixed shop-wide reviews (default).
How it renders
- Shows newest reviews first, up to the max you set (2–48).
- Includes a summary tile with heading, stars, review count, and optional logo.
- Works as a regular section app block in Theme Editor.
What you can customize
- Max reviews to show
- Heading and summary heading
- Summary logo
- Empty state text and hide-if-empty behavior
- Review scope (product / store / all)
- Heading tag for SEO
- Anchor ID (for click-to-scroll from Product Rating)
- Structure, review item structure, and custom CSS (advanced)
Typical usage
- Enable FiveOh Core if it is not already on.
- In Theme Editor, add FiveOh Reviews Slider to the template you want.
- Set review scope: All reviews for homepage/landing, Product reviews on PDPs.
- Optionally set an Anchor ID and link Product Rating click-to-scroll to it.
Notes
- Pair with Product Rating when you want summary stars above the fold and a slider further down.
- For a full review feed on the product page, use Review List instead (or as well).
- Structure and CSS follow the same pattern as other blocks - see Customising app blocks.

Troubleshooting
- If the slider is empty, verify reviews exist for the selected scope and are published.
- If Product reviews shows shop-wide content, you are likely not on a product template (fallback to all reviews).
- If layout looks broken after edits, reset structure/CSS under advanced settings and re-apply changes incrementally.
- If click-to-scroll from Product Rating fails, confirm the Anchor ID matches the rating block target.
